ON ARTISTS AND HOPELESSNESS
On Artists and Hopelessness is the second pamphlet by Beth Pickens, published by FCCW, and addresses "how hopelessness manifests in artists and writers, how the difficulty of building a sustainable art career interacts with other circumstances to make one feel hopeless about the world, about the future, and even about their creative practice." The pamphlet offers advice, strategies, and hopefully some reprieve to those experiencing these feelings. All proceeds benefit the Feminist Center for Creative Work.
